Green Bay, Wis.The Weidener is pleased to announce a series of events Green Bay Community Partners. This annual, far-reaching series highlights The Weidner’s commitment to providing a platform for arts and cultural organizations throughout the Greater Green Bay community. The Brown County Civic Music Association (BCCMA) will open the series on October 8 with a welcome speech Academy St. Martin in the field chamber ensembleother top-class events will follow in spring 2023, including the operetta, Pirates of Penzance by the New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players and the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.

Plus classic holiday favourites, Holiday Pops by St Norbert College’s Dudley Birder Chorale and the AVB Community Band’s free Christmas concert are coming in December.

For nearly two decades, Brown County Civic Music has crowned its annual classical music subscription series with a visit from the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra (MSO). Under the direction of music director Ken-David Masur, the MSO is one of the best orchestras in the country. The full-time professional musicians perform more than 135 classical, pop, family, educational and community concerts each season at venues across the state.
