In a recent Door Bumper Clear podcast, NASCAR spotter Brett Griffin touched on many things, including some observations about Dale Earnhardt Jr. It’s obvious that when drivers are outside the car, they have some hobbies. Among them is Dale Earnhardt Jr. who is interested in sim racing, specifically iRacing. The podcasters mentioned someone named Ryan Williams who is a designer.
Spotter TJ Majors said: “He also does all of Dale Jr’s iRacing cars, I think.”. Meanwhile, Brett Griffin exclaimed: “Dale Jr. has a personal iRacing designer!?”.
Majors then asked sarcastically, “What do you think, does he choose his personal clothes too?“. Then Griffin said, “Wow, it must be nice to be Dale Jr.”

The spotters acknowledged that there will be times when people are overwhelmed at the prospect of taking on THE Dale Earnhardt Jr. Sometimes it gets to the point where they easily let him pass without fighting back. It’s also worth noting that Dale Earnhardt Jr. is competing under his own name.
They even confessed that if they had raced, they would have been destroyed by many opponents. In other words, everyone just ‘kisses his ass‘ and Dale Jr. doesn’t even realize it. Granted, sometimes that’s a good thing, because it means Dale Jr is pretty grounded and doesn’t let his fame get to his head.

At the moment everyone is looking forward to the next race in the Cup Series calendar. The first round of the playoffs is over, with Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, Austin Dillon and Tyler Reddick stuck.
