Following its TIFF debut, Tyler Perry, Milauna Jackson and Brad Benedict brought their film to Los Angeles on September 16 for a special screening at the Tudum Theater.

Writer-director David O. Russell and stars Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, John David Washington, Andrea Riseborough, Mike Myers, Michael Shannon, Rami Malek, Timothy Olyphant and Robert De Niro, with producers Matthew Budman and Anthony Katagas and executive producers Drake and Adel “Future” Nur celebrated the world premiere of Amsterdam on Sunday at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center. The Natural Resources Defense Council hosted its annual New York fundraising comedy event “Night of Comedy” Tuesday at Casa Cipriani New York. The evening paid tribute to the Honorary Curator of NRDC and the founder of Night of Comedy. Anna Scott Carter and was hosted by Seth Meyers with appearances by Mike Birbiglia, Michael Che, Chloe Fineman, Nick Kroll and Hasan Minhaj. Scott Carter and Graydon Carter were joined as national co-chairs by David Zaslav and Jim and Penny Coulter.

The Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation (WRMPPF) honored producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli as Pioneers of the Year 2022. BlueCheck Ukraine fundraiser
Liev Schreiber’s humanitarian relief initiative BlueCheck Ukraine held a fundraiser Saturday at UTA Artist Space in Beverly Hills, raising more than $250,000. The Ukraine: Solidarity to Action event was hosted by UTA and INVNT GROUP and the funds will directly support local Ukrainian NGOs and grassroots organizations providing humanitarian assistance on the ground to civilians severely affected by the war in Russia.

60th APA anniversary
The agency toasted the anniversary with an office cocktail and had more reasons to toast than just the milestone. APA has moved to new headquarters (10865 Santa Monica Blvd.), a three-story building that previously housed Warner Chappell. Foreground Center CEO Jim Gosnell and President Jim Osborne addressed more than 250 employees during the event, some of whom had flown in from offices in New York, Nashville, Toronto, Atlanta and London. Osborne took a minute to greet veteran agents who have been with the agency for more than 25 years, including Gosnell. He then addressed the crowd by calling out the 12 senior agents whom ICM Partners APA welcomed to the group, while also praising the next generation of young agents by dedicating the party to them. Gosnell reported that the theme of the bash was “60 Years Young,” which caused a roar from the workforce.

Grameen America’s “Raising Latina Voices”
Jennifer Lopez attended Grameen America’s “Raising Latina Voices” event Saturday to kick off Hispanic Heritage Month and celebrate her partnership between Limitless Labs and Grameen America. Willis Wonderland Foundation Night of Wonders
Wednesday saw the Inaugural Night of Wonders hosted by the Willis Wonderland Foundation, which supports the education and nurturing of songwriters and multimedia artists – particularly those in underserved communities – who will carry on the legacy of Hall of Famer songwriter Allee Willis. The event’s hosting committee included RuPaul, Lily Tomlin, Luenell, Paul Reubens and Jenifer Lewis.

The Redeem Team special screening
