On the Track: Finished sixth in the boardman meeting in 19:50 and helped the Bombers to second overall.

Off the Track: “Some of my favorite sports memories are racing at Jesse Owens Stadium in 2021 as well as winning the Frank Gibas Invitational Cross Country Meeting with my team earlier this year.” Enjoys watching college football, especially Ohio State. Also plays tennis.

On the field: Worn 13 times for 217 yards and five touchdowns in the Rebels’ 35-14 win over North.

Madison>>Girls Soccer

Sophomore>>Left midfield

On the court: She scored her first career high school hat-trick in the 5-1 win over South.

Off the Pitch: Walks past “Bailey” with her teammates and coaches. “My fondest memory so far in my brief stint as Lady Blue Streak is my first ever college goal, which I scored in my freshman year. It was the most exciting thing ever when the whole team including me, a then JV player, jumped in excitement after the goal and it definitely showed with my 1m50 jump in the air and a beaming smile from ear to ear.” Also runs hurdles for the track team. She enjoys dancing and is a competitive and production dancer at Fairport Dance Academy, where she performs tap, jazz, ballet, kickline and modern dance styles. Her favorite subject is English because she enjoys reading and writing. “If I had to have one special talent, it would be my ability to get just about anything out of my head, be it a joke, an essay, a conversation, or even the perfect song for a car ride.” Likes the music of Lana Del Rey and Harry Styles Also enjoys watching movies including Titanic, anything with Adam Sandler (“The Waterboy is usually my first choice”), Twilight, Aladdin, and Tim Burton films including Edward with Finally, “Of course, the Lady Blue Streaks have to be my favorite sports team because they are not just a team but a family whose victories belong not just to one person but to all.”

On the field: Had 11 team-high tackles, including two tackles for losses, and more than 100 yards of attacking (62 receiving, 41 rushing) with a touchdown in a 31-14 win over Mayfield.

Off the Field: Plans to play sports in college. “Favorite sport memory would get the vote to seal the 2021 state championship.” Hobbies include fantasy football and video games. Favorite subject is art. Favorite food is a burger with bacon. Favorite series is “Family Guy”. Favorite music is anything by Kanye. Favorite teams are Ohio State and the Browns.

On the pitch: Scored two goals and had an assist in a 7-1 win over Shaw and scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over Cornerstone Christian, a game in which the Arcs were several starters short.

Off the Field: “Roni” hasn’t chosen to go to college but is focusing on nursing – “I’m currently on a two-year nursing program to become an LPN in high school.” Her fondest football memories are of traveling to play and laughter after a game.

Wickliffe>>Boys Soccer


On the pitch: All-Ohioan had a goal and an assist in a 2-0 win over Independence, their first win against that side in nine years, and two assists in a 4-0 win over Madison.

Off the field: plans to play soccer in college. Also plays golf and baseball and participates in the Learn, Lead, Serve program. “My fondest sporting memory was the sophomore football season, going to a district finals with all my brothers. I’m looking forward to doing another run this year with my brothers who I’ve played with since first grade.” Enjoys fishing and hanging out with friends. Favorite food is Chipotle. Favorite movie is The Dirt. Favorite player is Neymar “when he was in his prime”. His hype song is “Twist” by Korn and “Mr. Rager” by Kid Cudi.

On Court: Had a serve-receipt rating of over 2.0 in over 85 attempts. Had a 95 percent serve percentage with eight aces, 40 digs and 10 assists. Helped the Cardinals beat Strongsville and Riverside.

Off the field: “Jessi” hopes to visit the University of Kentucky. One of her fondest sporting memories is switching from winger to libero after injury. likes to bake. Favorite subject is chemistry. Favorite food is ice cream. Favorite movie is The Notebook. Favorite series is Grey’s Anatomy. Likes to listen to country music. Favorite team are the Guardians.

Senior>>Middle Stroke

On Court: Average of 2.1 kills per set. Had 16 aces and 66 points scored. Also had 42 blocks.

Off the court: “Nat” says her fondest sporting memory is celebrating her birthday with teammates by playing sand volleyball in the middle of a thunderstorm. Favorite movie is Dunkirk. Favorite series is “American Horror Story”. Has been playing Junior Olympic Volleyball for eight years and has met some of her best friends in the process. Likes listening to Harry Styles and the Arctic Monkeys.
