Hard Rock Hotels are already hugely popular with tourists, and Los Cabos is no different, and now the Cabo San Lucas location offers an experience that is likely to bring even more people through its doors. A new high-tech, multi-sensory dining experience called Awaken Your Senses recently launched at the Los Cabos Estate. The experience is only available at two other locations in the world, Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana and Hard Rock Riviera Maya, but RCD Hotels plans to expand the unique experience in the future.

Awaken Your Senses not only offers guests a great dining experience, but is also an all-encompassing entertainment experience. The dishes served are prepared exclusively for this experience and combined with sounds, scents, sights and touches to provide the ultimate sensory dining experience. And since it’s only available for four to twelve guests at a time, it’s also a very personal experience.

The immersive dining performance uses props to provide a unique experience. Guests experience an interactive table that responds to touch, a state-of-the-art surround sound system, scents that sync with other parts of the experience, high-definition video projections from different destinations around the world, and augmented reality. And the menu selection will “take the dining experience to the next level,” according to menu curators, and includes dishes like slow-cooked Angus beef ribs, Caribbean-style amberjack and taco al pastor.

The Hard Rock Hotel in Los Cabos is an all-inclusive resort that opened its doors in July 2019. It is located directly on the Pacific Ocean and has more than 600 well-appointed rooms. Guests staying at the Hard Rock Los Cabos also have access to three golf courses, five pools with swim-up bars, three lounges, a bowling alley, separate adult-only areas, and plenty to do for those traveling with children.

There are currently only four other all-inclusive Hard Rock hotels in the world, including one in Punta Cana that also has a casino. The other three, alongside the Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos, are located in popular vacation spots in Mexico. They include:

  • Hard Rock Hotel Cancun
  • Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya
  • Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta

The Awaken Your Senses experience has been available at Punta Cana and Riviera Maya hotels for some time. It has received great reactions and reviews from guests who attended the event, with some reviewers calling it “outstanding” and a “must see experience”. Past guests also say the curators do a fantastic job of accommodating those with dietary restrictions too, so those who have specific requirements shouldn’t be put off what could be an experience of a lifetime.

The Awaken Your Senses experience costs $175 per person for adults and $100 for children ages 6 to 12, and others who have experienced it say it’s worth the money. Reservations are required and a minimum of four people is required to book the experience, with a maximum of 12. Two seats are offered, one at 6:30am and one at 8:30am, every day except Mondays.

There is a lot of fun and exciting things to do when visiting Los Cabos. The difference with this latest option is that there are few other places in the world where you can experience it. So why not add to your experience of a lifetime a dining experience that you will never forget when visiting Los Cabos.
