Although you may not know her name, you will surely recognize Lashana Lynch by her face. The actor has starred in hit films like Captain Marvel, no time to die, The Woman King with upcoming roles in Mathilde (she plays the lovable Miss Honey) and a Bob Marley biopic (she plays his wife Rita Marley). This month she is once again in the spotlight as TZR’s fall cover star in a series of images taken by Christian Cody. Throughout the images you can see the actor’s power and beauty combined with the lens and confidence and ease in wearing the latest looks from the fall collections.
Just take a look at Lynch’s sequined Christopher Kane dress styled with Sportmax mitts – a look that requires a certain level of comfort to be bold and confident. Lynch has plenty of that, having tackled a variety of film roles portraying strong female characters. In TZR’s cover story, the actress adds that she also has a “tender” side, noting that she doesn’t have to be strong all the time. For her photoshoot, however, Lynch briefly re-entered that familiar world of strength and agility as she modeled fall’s biggest fashion trends, from leather pieces to miniskirts to sheer dresses—all while posing on sandhills.
Check out all the stunning looks Lynch wore on the TZR shoot below, and when you fall in love with an outfit, simply shop for the appropriate products to recreate the look.

Look 1: A leather dress
Your leather motorcycle jacket is a tried-and-true fall staple, but this season, swap it out for a leather dress instead. Not only will this piece keep you just as warm, but it also adds that cool and rugged factor to an outfit. Consider it your entry into the biker fashion trend for 2022.
Look 2: A dress with a sequined neckline
This design by Christopher Kane taps into the sensual and sultry side of fashion, which is an ongoing interest for many designers. On the Fall/Winter 2022 catwalks alone, Fendi sent out numerous see-through dresses, while Altuzarra, Area and Jonathan Simkhai all presented sparkling looks adorned with sequins, rhinestones and both.
Look 3: A modest, transparent dress
For those who love a sheer fashion moment but aren’t too keen on showing too much skin at once, style a jumpsuit under a sheer dress. While Lynch’s exact Balenciaga combo has sold out, you can still pick up a similar, albeit more humble, version of her Look Ahead.
Look 4: A combination of leather jacket and mini skirt
The mini skirt trend is not just limited to the summer season. The Fall/Winter 2022 catwalks proved that you can wear this legless style well into winter. (At Molly Goddard, for example, checked cardigans were paired with floral minis and distressed leggings.) Here’s how Lynch rocks the look for fall: style a shearling leather jacket over your mini skirt and pair it with knee-highs boots.
