International fashion star Jay Manuel kicking off Breast Cancer Awareness Month, features 12 top Canadian designers and their vision for a cancer-free future

Annual start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October
More than 240 top Canadian designers have participated in the Cashmere Collection, which is now in its 19th yearth Year. Manufactured by Kruger Products, makers of cashmere bath towels, canada Best-selling brand and serves as the annual kick-off to October Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“It’s a joy to celebrate a new normal Canada after more than two years of lockdown,” he says Susan Irving, CMO Kruger Products. “The 2022 Cashmere Collection is a tribute to our ever-evolving lifestyle and the perseverance Canadians show as we adapt to our environment with empathy and compassion. Our Celestial Awakening honors fashion with compassion and typically Canadian creativity.”

“It was specifically designed to raise much-needed public support and funds for breast cancer awareness, prevention and treatment programs through our long-standing partnerships with the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) and the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation (QBCF), we have millions of dollars raised to support the breast cancer cause,” she says.

Artistic Director and Canadian runway show producer Erika Larva has helmed the collection since its inception in 2004. She is joined this year by stylist Lisa Williams, who is making her debut in the cashmere collection.

Internationally recognized fashion photographer Justin Wu captured the collection in a heavenly photo portfolio available at An award-winning Toronto-based photographer and director, Justin is best known for shooting world-renowned fashion and beauty campaigns starring top Canadian talent Run the Burbs and kim’s convenience, and take Europe by storm by collaborating with Vogue, ELLE and GQ.

Calling all Canadians
The 19thth The Annual Cashmere Collection is calling on all Canadians to join and support the fight against breast cancer by participating in this year’s Cashmere Vote Couture for the Cure® at – where Canadians are invited to vote for their favorite design and donate cashmere $1 (up to max $15,000), to CCS and QBCF on behalf of the winning designer. Voters are also entered for a chance to win $1,500 cash prize.

All October twenty five cents from the sale of each pink packet of limited edition Cashmere Ultraluxe Bathroom Tissue goes directly to Breast Cancer Aid, up to a maximum of $65,000.
