– Tom Galvin, Music-in-Residence of Yuba Sutter Arts & Culture, will host the “Solo Sessions” program, featuring singer-songwriters from across the country presenting their work. The event will take place from 1:00 p.m. on the Yuba Sutter Arts Facebook page and YouTube channel

– The Kiwanis Club of Marysville will host the 13th annual Hogs and Hulas event from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Sycamore Ranch, 5390 State Route 20, Browns Valley. The event features a luau-style dinner and music by Sacramento-based party band Power Play. Tickets are $60 per person and participants must be 21 years of age or older. – The Reel Book Society is a book and film club for film and book lovers. A Discord server is used to discuss a book throughout the month and then the group screens the film. At the end of each month there is a virtual final talk about the book and film. Read and watch the film this month “Contact” by Carl Sagan.
