September ends with a bang
1st VFW Oktoberfest in favor of veterans
The 1st Annual Oktoberfest Benefitting Veterans will be held September 24th at Kenosha VFW Junker-Ball Post 1865, 6618 39th Ave. held in Kenosha. The event will have free entry, merchandise for sale and raffles.
Thermal underwear will be collected for veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Find out more about the event on our website or visit the VFW Post 1865 website.
2nd St. Charles 63rd Annual Fall Festival
The St. Charles 63rd Annual Fall Festival and Turkey Dinner will be held on September 24th and 25th at 440 Kendall St. in Burlington. The fun includes music, food, raffles, beer, drinks, turkey dinner, crafts, bake sales and much more music.

3. Wolf Lake Trail Run & Walk
Walk or run in the Richard Bong State Natural Area during the Wolf Lake Trail Run 5K Walk/Run or 1 Mile Walk/Run. Event-goers will race through scenic paths.
100% of proceeds go back into the park, making it a better place for people of all ages, abilities and sensitivities to visit the park. Information on participation can be found in the online calendar.
4. Balance & Bloom: Yoga in the field of flowers
Center yourself amidst a field of flowers to conclude September. For the Love of Flowers Farm is hosting a reset and refresher event in partnership with Santosha Yoga. The shop owners combine a yoga class with a flower picking experience.

5. Racine Harbor Market
The 2nd Racine HarborMarket will be held on September 29th. From 4:30pm to 7:00pm, enjoy this European-style market at Monument Square in downtown Racine. The market features vendors selling the freshest local produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods, artisan creations and ready meals.
